Milton Air Hose Reels
Our retractable air hose reel lineup is built on Milton's steel dual arm design, a spring-driven automatic air hose reel that rewinds on its own once you release the hose, with an adjustable ball stop to set exactly how far it extends. Both reels handle up to 300 PSI and mount to a wall, ceiling, bench, or truck bed.
How the Retraction and Stop System Works
Pull the hose out to the length you need. The reel clicks into place and locks, so it stays put while you work instead of creeping back in. Give the hose a slight extra pull to release the lock, and the internal spring guides it back onto the reel automatically.
This is what separates a true automatic air hose reel from a manual crank type: no winding required, just pull and release.
The adjustable ball stop at the end of the hose is what sets your maximum working length and cushions the hose as it retracts.
It's also a wear part, since it takes the impact every time the hose winds back in, which is why Milton sells it as a separate replaceable component rather than building it permanently into the reel.
